Equine-assisted learning (EAL) is an exciting way to deliver training & development programmes for employees in the workplace. Working with horses offers a refreshing addition to the human-resources portfolio — ideal for motivating and engaging people who have become bored with traditional approaches.
By bringing individuals and small groups into contact with horses, we offer experiential learning which can be more effective and more enjoyable (and therefore more ‘sticky’) than courses in the classroom or online learning. The experiential nature of our programme helps to embed learning within the individual, enabling them to own and remember their learning.
Horses are very sensitive to mood, and aren’t impressed by job titles or posturing. They take people as they find them: you always get an honest response from a horse, which means that learning is genuine as well bespoke to each individual. Discover more about how EAL works.
EAL is ideal for the development of ‘horizontal’ skills in teamwork, leadership, management and problem-solving, as well as ‘vertical’ skills in areas such as sales and coaching.
