Equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) and equine-assisted learning (EAL) are exciting new fields which offer fresh approaches for employers and professionals in the back-to-work sector.
Our internationally accredited programmes can be used to deliver training and development in the workplace for all employees at every level of the organisation, as well as therapies targeted to specific individuals’ issues. They can also be used to help both the recently and long-term unemployed to regain their confidence and improve their approach to job-seeking.
How can EAL contribute to CPD?
Equine-assisted learning is ideally suited to delivering employee training and development, particularly around team-building, goal-setting and skills development. We offer one-day EAL sessions for small groups of employees and, since each group and its interaction with the horses is unique, sessions are highly personalised to your own context. Find out more about EAL.
How can EAP help at work?
Equine-assisted therapy can help employers to work with employees on an individual basis to address issues such as alcohol or drug dependency, long-term illnesses and conditions, and perpetrators and victims of workplace bullying. Find out more about EAP.
How can EAP/EAL help the unemployed?
Equine-assisted techniques can be used to help those who have recently become unemployed as well as the long-term unemployed. They can help to boost confidence and improve focus, as well as identifying and helping to rectify issues which are preventing individuals from making progress with their job-seeking.
